Keep it clean

Protect yourself and help stop spreading germs with these simple steps

  • Wash your hands with hot soapy water for the recommended 20 seconds. Singing the Happy Birthday song twice through will help you time yourself.

  • Use anti-bacterial gels or hand sanitizers after coming into contact with public spaces

  • If you are sick, avoid exposing others! Stay home, get rested, and if you must be in public, wear a mask to help avoid contaminating others with your germs.

Keep it calm

Did you know decreasing stress can boost your immune system as well?

  • Don’t worry about things you can’t change, try to think positively and make time for activities that make you happy.

  • Exercise can also help reduce stress as well by relieving stress and tension in your mind and body.

  • Meditation, either on your own or guided from one of many podcasts for free, can also decrease stress.

Keep it hydrated

Water helps the body produce Lymph which carries white blood cells and other immune system cells to where they are most needed.

  • Drink Fluids! Stay hydrated to help your body eliminate toxins and other bacteria and flush them from your body to help decrease the chance of illness.

  • One study found that drinking water may boost a particular immune response to enable your body to better fight off viruses. Aim to drink 6-8 glasses of water per day.
