Back to School Specials

All over Northern Nevada today you can feel the excitement of our kiddos as they embark on a new school year (and, if you listen carefully, the collective sigh of parents who survived another summer break). Here are just a few things to remember now that school is back in session.

• Slow Down! The speed light in a school zone is 15 MPH when children are present and/or the street lights are flashing.

• Look for pedestrians and bicyclists in the road as many of our kids walk or bike to school.

• Watch for academic support programs in your local restaurants and grocery stores such as Box Tops for Education, the Entertainment! coupon book and various other opportunities to give a little back to our local schools.
